Peter Hart

Peter has worked in the financial services sector for the greater part of his career as an organisational and leadership development specialist, having held senior roles with Standard Chartered Bank, Lloyds Bank, Citigroup Asset Management and Alliance Trust PLC. Peter has a strong interest in how financial services organisations provide services to consumers and interact with them.  He is also concerned with issues such as sustainability and consumer privacy, He has been Honorary Treasurer and Company Secretary of the NCF since 2016.

Peter studied English and Sociology at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and trained as a teacher at Christchurch College of Education.  He has an MA in Education from the University of London, an MBA from the University of Surrey and is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.  He is a former governor of Christchurch School, Chelsea and of St Lawrence School, Effingham.
